Call for papers
On behalf of the conference chairman, Chen, Zueng-Sang, and secretary general, Lee, Dar-Yuan and Lin, Tser-Sheng, you are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation at the 14th International Conference on Heavy Metals in the Environment to be held at the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, November 16-23, 2008. The conference attracts attendees from almost every country covering every region of the world. Past conferences have had an international presence as well, with attendees from Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. Attendees include representatives from state and federal agencies, environment engineering, industries including railroad, transportation, petroleum and utilities, the consulting community, and academia.
